Once a year, NLR organizes a NH90 SDE User Conference, either at NLR in The Netherlands or at one of the NH90 operational bases of the SDE Participating Nations, allowing personal interference of the national SDE focal points, to assess system data with respect to integrity, completeness and validity, to share and discuss moderated analysis results, observations, recommendations and engineering support aiming at optimal NH90 fleet usage with respect to sustainment of the fleet and structural integrity.
The yearly User Conference is intended:
- to educate and inform users on all aspects of the three-level SDE service
- to share and discuss views on NH90 maintenance and sustainment
- to be informed about community wide quantitative comparative findings
- to manage and direct future shared SDE activities on engineering support
- to manage and direct future shared SDE activities on ongoing software development
- to identify topics for maintenance credits discussion with Industry.
The agenda of the yearly User Conference will, at least, contain the following agenda items:
- presentation by Contractor of all relevant user input data, plus analysis and results, addressing SDE Level 1, 2 and 3 issues
- presentation by Participating Nations on experiences and findings with SDE, NH90 operations, maintenance issues, occurrences & incidents etc.
- lessons-learned and identification of future analysis and engineering support tasks
- availability and maintainability issues.
